2 months ago we launched our AI project from a small hacker house in Italy. No VC funding. No marketing team. No paid ads budget. No agency. Just three founders, a lot espresso , and the guilt of watching 6 previous products fail.... Back then, I honestly didn't know if this idea would work either. We'd built and killed 6 products before this one. Every time we thought "this is the one" .... it wasn't. The pattern was always the same: we could build fast (Lovable, Claude Code, Cursor - the tools are incredible now), but we kept getting stuck at the same wall: finding users. Building was never the problem. Distribution was. So we decided to build the thing we actually needed: a tool that does growth and finds users for you automatically. That became Luce. Fast-forward to today: $20k MRR with paying customers Here's what actually worked: → We used our own product to grow (ate our own dog food from day 1) → We did a LOT of manual outreach in the first 2 weeks, X replies and LinkedIn DMs → We knew our target customer extremely well because we WERE the target customer The "strategy" was embarrassingly simple: Find posts where founders are complaining about growth/marketing/finding us...
